Through my photography I attempt to show a different perspective of my environment, and create a lasting impression on those who view it. I am greatly inspired by nature as a muse for my photos, as I find it fascinating how one can capture something as unpredictable and capricious as nature in a single photo. I also have a primary focus on getting close extreme angles, almost taking the perspective of an animal in its own habitat. Through getting so close to the subject of my photos, I try to give a sense of familiarity and environment to the viewer, and have there be an interaction not just between myself as the photographer, but the viewer with the subject itself. Having the subject being so close also shows in much greater detail it's texture, which allows the viewer be able to experience not just what they already know of the subject, but become even more familiar with them.
